What We Offer

Beginner/Introductory Lesson

10 minutes – Brushing & tacking up (with guidance)
15 minutes – Riding instruction (focus on basics, balance, and confidence)
10 minutes – Helping untack & put pony away

Perfect for beginners, young riders, or those looking for a safe and short introduction to horsemanship and riding

Intermediate/Advanced Lesson

Ideal for riders with some experience who want a fuller lesson and deeper involvement in horse care

• 15 minutes – Grooming & tacking independently (with support as needed)

• 30 minutes – Riding instruction (skill-building, control, and refinement)

• 15 minutes – Cooling down, brushing/bathing & putting horse away

Horsemanship Lesson (no riding)

Great for beginners, very young children, or anyone interested in horse care without riding.

• 30 minutes – Hands-on learning with horses:

• Brushing, grooming, and handling

• Learning parts of the tack and how to care for it

• Feeding, watering, or other daily care tasks

• Cancellations: Must be made at least 24 hours in advance. No-shows may still be charged.

• Riders must follow all barn safety rules for their safety and the horses’.

• Parents/guardians are welcome to observe

• Must wear long pants (jeans or leggings recommended)

• For riding, must wear boots with a small heel (close toed shoes around horses at all times)

• Please have weather-appropriate layers (lessons run rain or shine unless deemed unsafe)

• Helmets are required (we can provide one if needed)
